Matthew Gold & Clare Jennings recommended lawyers in 2020 edition of Chambers and Partners

We are delighted to announce that once again our Directors, Matthew Gold and Clare Jennings, are among the select few ranked as leading lawyers in this year’s Chambers and Partners.

Matthew who heads our Civil Actions Against the State department is ranked in Band 3 of the Police Law category for his work representing claimants in actions for assault, false imprisonment and breaches of human rights, as well as for his work acting for family members in inquests following deaths arising out police contact. Matthew is described as a ‘charming old-school advocate who is eminently practical and tactical’ and further praised for his ‘excellent legal knowledge’.

Clare who heads our Public Law department is ranked in Band 3 in the Claimant Administrative and Public Law category where her “considerable experience in judicial review challenges concerning healthcare, migrants’ rights and education” is noted.
