Elinor Kirchwey

Prior to joining Gold Jennings, Elinor worked as a paralegal for 1.5 years at the New York Legal Assistance Group’s Pro Se clinic, where she provided limited scope assistance to unrepresented litigants in actions against the police, employment claims, and a range of other civil legal issues.

Elinor graduated with first class honours in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Edinburgh in 2018, and has since completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University. During her time at BPP she volunteered at a housing clinic run through the North Kensington Law Centre. She is currently enrolled part-time in the Legal Practice Course at BPP.

Elinor’s interest in pursuing a career in legal aid began when she worked as an intern for the non-profit group Prisoners’ Legal Services of Massachusetts. She gained further exposure to the world of criminal justice reform whilst volunteering for the Release Aging People in Prison Campaign in New York.
