Jessica joined Matthew Gold & Co as a trainee solicitor in September 2018. She works from the London office and her first seat is with the civil actions against public authorities team, assisting in claims against the police and local authorities and supporting bereaved families at inquests.

Prior to joining Matthew Gold & Co, Jessica worked as a paralegal at GT Stewart Solicitors in the criminal defence, extradition and prison law departments. She is also an accredited police station representative and has particular experience of working with vulnerable adults. 

She graduated from the MA in Law at the University of Bristol in 2014 and went on to achieve a distinction in her Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England in 2018. Her bachelor degree was in European Studies, which she completed at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. 

Jessica is interested in issues surrounding human trafficking and modern slavery, having been an intern with the Council of Europe secretariat for the Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings.
