Kathryn joined Matthew Gold and Co as a trainee solicitor in August 2020. Her first seat is with the Public Law and Community Care team.

Prior to joining Matthew Gold and Co, Kathryn worked as a paralegal for Irwin Mitchell LLP in the Public Law and Human Rights department, where she specialised in Court of Protection and Judicial Review matters.

She graduated with a 2:1 in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2018. She also holds an LLM in Public International Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands. She graduated cum laude in 2019. Kathryn is currently studying the LPC part-time at the University of Law.

During her time in the Netherlands, Kathryn interned for the Office of the Prosecutor at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. Kathryn also has a background in human rights research, having worked as a Research Associate for the Public International Law and Policy Group, and having published work on international human rights and international criminal law issues.
