Léa Lehouck

Léa joined Gold Jennings in November 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor in our Civil Claims Against Public Authorities Team.  

Prior to joining the firm, Léa was a paralegal in the Human Rights department at Leigh Day, where she primarily supported the environment team on judicial review challenges. She also worked on judicial review proceedings related to the Afghan relocation schemes. In 2017, Léa interned for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva where she worked on discrimination and gender equality issues. Léa also worked as a project and research assistant for a Swiss NGO focusing on gender equality in the security sector.  

In 2017, Léa graduated with a Master’s degree in European and International Affairs from the Institute of Political Studies of Lille (Sciences Po Lille). She then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, graduating in 2020 and 2021 respectively. During her studies, Léa volunteered for a Citizen Advice Bureau supporting individuals with their benefits claims.
