Nicolette Stickland

Nicolette joined Matthew Gold & Co as a trainee solicitor in September 2018. She works from the London office with her second seat being within our Public Law team. Her first seat was within the Actions Against the Police team at Eastbourne. 

Nicolette gained a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2016. She read History and Politics at the University of Oxford, graduating with a 2:1 in 2011. 

She is currently studying the Legal Practice Course part-time at the University of Law Bloomsbury which she will complete in June 2020. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science, which she completed in 2013.

Prior to joining Matthew Gold, Nicolette worked as a Paralegal at Capsticks Solicitors in their Clinical Law department. She had previously worked on a research project with the Charity Commission for England and Wales and the Cass Business School at City University, and in policy research for a think-tank where she looked specifically at prison education.
