Ornina joined Matthew Gold & Co as a trainee solicitor in August 2019. Her first seat is within the civil actions against public authorities department.

Prior to joining Matthew Gold & Co, Ornina worked as a paralegal for two years at ITN Solicitors in the actions against the police team, assisting with claims against the police and other public bodies, inquests and some prison law work.

She was previously an administrator at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors for over a year where she gained experience in both the Public Law and Court of Protection departments, namely challenging the level and quality of healthcare being provided to vulnerable clients. She has also been involved with public inquiries and judicial review.

She graduated with a 2.1 in Law at the University of Kent in 2013 and has completed the Legal Practice Course. She is currently a member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers and Police Actions Lawyers Group.
