Sue joined Gold Jennings as a trainee solicitor in August 2023 in the Public Law team. Prior to joining Gold Jennings, Sue was employed as a paralegal with the Public Law Project for 4 years.
Sue studied law as a mature student, graduating with a first-class honours LLB with Human Rights and being awarded a distinction in a scholarship LLM with Research training, both from Aberystwyth University. She also completed the Legal Practice Course with BPP University gaining a distinction, and is a senior caseworker under the Law Society Immigration & Asylum accreditation scheme. Prior to studying law, Sue worked as a horticulturist and volunteered with Citizens Advice and mental health charities.
