07 Jun Matthew Gold is a Guest Speaker at The Nature of Crime and Justice
Matthew Gold, founding Director of Matthew Gold & Co Solicitors, will be attending The Nature of Crime and Justice, as a guest on the panel of speakers. He will be drawing on his many years of experience as a campaigning lawyer specialising in police misconduct, humans rights, judicial reviews, civil claims against public authorities, inquests, information law, discrimination and migrant rights.
The debate will investigate ‘what do we understand by the word punishment? Does punishment result in legal justice or does justice remain an elusive concept’. This event will explore crime and punishment around the world and ask how we rethink notions of criminal behaviour, immoral acts and human rights and freedom.
The event takes place at the Council Chamber, Glamorgan Building, Cardiff on Tuesday 11th June, starting at 6.30pm.
