26 Jun MG&Co to receive grant from the Strategic Legal Fund

We are pleased to announce that MG&Co and Project 17  are to receive a Strategic Legal Fund grant to investigate the lawfulness of systems and practices employed by local authorities during section 17 Children Act assessments of destitute children with carers who have no recourse to public funds.

Clare Jennings and Rachel Etheridge will run the grant in conjunction with Project 17, a leading charity specialising in providing advocacy and support to families in need to section 17 support and accommodation.
